Michigan Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union
Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers
Our work is demanding and rewarding. It builds confidence, strength and independence.
Since its founding in 1865, the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers has actively fought to improve our members’ quality of life – on and off the job – through access to fair wages, good benefits, safe working conditions, and solidarity among members.
Today, we represent the most highly skilled trowel trade Craftworkers including bricklayers, stone and marble masons, cement masons, plasterers, tile setters, terrazzo, mosaic workers and masonry restoration specialist called PCC masons (pointers-cleaners-caulkers).
If you possess journeyman/woman level skill in the trowel trades we want to meet you to discuss career and membership opportunities. We offer excellent wages, a comprehensive benefit package that includes fully paid health insurance and a pension plan.
For those with less than journey level experience or none, our apprentice Coordinator will be on site to discuss our apprenticeships – the zero debt 4-year degree.
